NiceGPU Provider Earnings Guide

How Many NCUs Can I Earn?

NiceGPU’s compute provider program compensates participants based on verified GPU usage hours.
Providers earn according to the actual compute time and performance their GPUs contribute to workloads on the platform.

To maximize your earning potential:

  • Keep your GPUs continuously online and connected to the platform.
  • Avoid frequent restarts, disconnections, or unstable network environments.
  • Ensure your GPU meets the latest driver and system requirements to maintain compatibility.

Note: Earnings are based purely on validated compute activity. Idle time, brief connection spikes, or unfinished tasks do not contribute to compensated usage hours.

Supported GPUs and Earning Rates

The following GPUs are currently supported under NiceGPU’s usage-based earnings structure. Earning rates are determined by GPU performance tier and may be periodically reviewed as new models are validated.

GPU Model Approx. Rate(USD/hour) Approx. NCU Earning / 24 Hours
RTX PRO 6000 $2.99 3.59
RTX 5090 $0.60 0.72
RTX 4090 $0.37 0.44
RTX 5080 $0.20 0.24
RTX 5070 Ti $0.18 0.21
RTX 4080 Ti $0.17 0.20
RTX 4080 SUPER $0.16 0.19
RTX 4080 $0.14 0.17
RTX 4070 Ti SUPER $0.14 0.17
RTX 4070 SUPER $0.08 0.1
RTX 4070 Ti $0.06 0.08
RTX 5070 $0.06 0.08

How Earnings Are Calculated

Earnings are directly tied to active compute workload duration and GPU performance classification.
NiceGPU’s platform automatically validates and records usage data in real time, ensuring accuracy and fairness across all providers.

  • Usage-based compensation:
Earnings are determined by the total verified compute time contributed by each GPU to assigned tasks.

  • Performance-weighted rates:
Each GPU model has a defined hourly rate based on its processing capacity and contribution to platform workloads.

  • Connection stability:
Stable uptime ensures consistent credit accumulation. If a GPU disconnects or goes offline during a task, that period will not be credited.

  • Workload validation:
Only validated and completed compute sessions are eligible for earnings; incomplete or failed workloads are excluded from payout calculations.

How Are NCUs Earned and Tracked?

As a NiceGPU Provider, you earn NCUs (NiceGPU Compute Units) based on how much compute power your machine delivers each day. Our system automatically tracks your contributions and updates your daily NCU earnings.

Daily Earnings Calculation

  • Earnings are calculated every 24 hours, based on real usage data.
  • Even if a compute job spans multiple days, your share is credited daily based on NCUs used that day.
  • Jobs in progress still generate earnings each day.

Note: You don’t need to wait for job completion to get paid. Daily compute usage = daily earnings.

Where Does the Usage Data Come From?

NiceGPU collects:

  • Machine uptime and availability logs
  • NCUs consumed by active jobs
  • Job duration and performance metrics

This ensures earnings are tied to real, verifiable usage.

Where Can I See My Earned NCUs?

You can monitor your earnings on your Provider Dashboard or your NiceGPU Wallet.

What Happens If My Machine Goes Down?

If your machine experiences unexpected downtime and impacts a consumer’s active job, NiceGPU may deduct the corresponding NCUs from your earnings and return them to the consumer. Reliable uptime is essential to maintaining consistent earnings and a positive Provider reputation.

Why This Matters

  • No guesswork — you’re rewarded for actual compute time delivered
  • Earnings are updated automatically
  • Reliable machines = consistent daily payouts

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: Do I get paid even if a compute job isn’t finished yet?
Yes. Earnings are calculated and credited daily based on the amount of NCUs consumed, even if the job is still running.

Q2: What if my machine goes offline temporarily?
You only earn NCUs when your machine is online and delivering compute. Downtime can reduce or cancel your earnings if a job is impacted.

Q3: Can I see how much I earned each day?
Yes. You can view a detailed breakdown in the Wallet → Activity Log and your Provider Dashboard.

Q4: Do all machines earn the same number of NCUs?
No. Different GPU models earn at different NCU rates. See the “How Many NCUs Can I Earn?” page for details.

How Are NCUs Converted Into Money?

As a NiceGPU Provider, your earnings in USD are based on the price consumers paid when they purchased NCUs from the platform. There is no fixed exchange rate — your payout depends on the cost of the specific NCUs used on your machine.

NCU-to-USD Conversion: How It Works

  • Every NCU a consumer buys from NiceGPU has a specific price (e.g., $20 per NCU).
  • That price is permanently linked to the NCU batch.
  • When a consumer spends those NCUs on your machine, your payout is calculated based on the original purchase price of the consumed NCUs.

Example

  • Consumer A purchases 5 NCUs at $20 each
  • They run a job that consumes 2 NCUs on your machine
  • You earn: 2 × $20 = $40 (gross)

Note: Even if NCUs are later traded on the secondary market, your payout is based solely on the original price paid to the platform.

Commission Deductions

NiceGPU applies a 5% commission (subject to change) to your gross daily earnings.

  • Gross earnings: $40
  • Commission (5%): $2
  • Net payout: $38

You will always be asked to explicitly agree to your commission rate before activating your machine. Any updates to the rate require your acceptance before proceeding.

Tracking Conversion & Net Value

Your Provider Dashboard or NiceGPU Wallet will show:

  • Daily NCUs consumed on your machine
  • Original price of each consumed NCU
  • Gross earnings
  • Commission deducted
  • Net payout (available for withdrawal)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: Is there a fixed conversion rate from NCU to USD?
No. Your earnings reflect the price consumers originally paid when purchasing NCUs from NiceGPU.

Q2: If NCUs are resold, does that affect my payout?
No. Your payout is based only on the platform sale price, not any secondary resale value.

Q3: Can I choose which NCUs are used on my machine?
No. The system automatically assigns NCUs to compute jobs and tracks them internally for earnings distribution.

Q4: Where can I view my USD earnings?
In your Provider Dashboard or Wallet Dashboard, you’ll see NCU earnings and the equivalent value in USD.
